#MY BOOK MY FRIEND CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED ON THE OCCASION OF WORLD BOOK DAY 2020, APRIL 23RD.: SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
#My Book My Friend campaign launched on World Book Day
Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has launched a campaign “#My Book My Friend“. The campaign “#MyBookMyFriend” has been launched on social media on the occasion of World Book Day to encourage students to keep reading books.

Citing the importance of books, the minister urged all the students to read some books of interest in addition to course books during the period of lockdown. He also appealed to the students to share the book which they are reading at the moment using #MyBookMyFriend on social media.
The Board (CBSE) said it is looking forward to whole-hearted cooperation of all its schools in supporting this campaign and enriching the reading experience of our young generation.
“The ebooks can also be shared with the students. Books can be the best friends in the times we are in. Students sitting at home due to closure of schools may utilise their time by exploring the realm of good books,” .
“Reading of books will not only give new knowledge and ideas to the students but will also enhance their imagination, critical thinking, language skills, focus, memory and concentration,” .
Share the book using #MyBookMyFriend on social media.
